A prophet with a miracle camel

Has not the news of those before them come to them; of the people of Nuh and Ad and Samood, and the people of Ibrahim and the dwellers of Madyan and the overthrown cities; their apostles came to them with clear arguments; so it was not Allah Who should do them injustice, but they were unjust to themselves.

After Noah’s miracle, the human being spread out across the world and too many generations appeared with the origins of three primary sons of Noah’s. One of these generations was called Thamud that existed before Ibrahim (peace upon him) and after the age of Houd’s tribe (one of Allah’s durable prophets). They lived right in the center of the Mesopothamia I and they were so strong and rich. One of the major things they do were digging mountains and making luxurious and environmental disaster resistant houses aside their great civilization and buildings constructed near rivers and plateaus. By noticing deep inside the stories we found out that when they reach to ease and stable conditions, therefore become rich, they turned out to heathen to Allah and became so arrogant. This story become more interesting when saleh the prophet make a precise time of their punish. Since prophet Saleh [peace upon him] was one of the greatest mans in their tribe and distinguished as a wise their tribe commanders and their community were shocked from what he is telling about their god. And they tell him:

They said, ‘O Salih! You were a source of hope to us before this. Do you forbid us to worship what our fathers have been worshiping? Indeed we have grave doubts concerning that to which you invite us.’

But in return Saleh told them:

He said: O my people! tell me if I have clear proof from my Lord and He has granted to me mercy from Himself-- who will then help me against Allah if I disobey Him? Therefore you do not add to me other than loss:

A pregnant camel from mountain

As the tribe and society told him that he is a lier and they couldn’t believe his speaches, then saleh to suggest that even if he show them a miracle the situation remain unchanged?. Then, he bring a camel from inside the mountain that was pregnant and gave birth of a baby!. They were told that this is a miracle from allah and you shouldn’t kill nor harm it and it has a specified amount of tribe’s food and water. But after days they killed it with arrogance and punished in just three days.

And, O my people! this will be (as) Allah's she-camel for you, a sign; therefore leave her to pasture on Allah's earth and do not touch her with evil, for then a near chastisement will overtake you.

  1. It came out from the mountain
  2. Without any male camel activity was pregnant!,
  3. it used too much of the clan’s water resources
  4. but made a lot of milk for them,
  5. people was not responsible for it.

How was the punish?

The tribe was made up of nine groups, one day strictly made a bad wish and decided to kill saleh silently and then inform his family that they were unaware! But they made a plan and allah had better plan!. Their thought made a wrong choice and saleh was saved from that sinful plan.

They said: We have met with ill luck on account of you and on account of those with you. He said: The cause of your evil fortune is with Allah; nay, you are a people who are tried.(47) And there were in the city nine persons who made mischief in the land and did not act aright.(48) They said: Swear to each other by Allah that we will certainly make a sudden attack on him and his family by night, then we will say to his heir: We did not witness the destruction of his family, and we are most surely truthful.(49) And they planned a plan, and We planned a plan while they perceived not.(50)

Thamud tribe was punished by Allah and found all dead because they were disobedient to his commands and the believers along with Saleh itself were rescued from that disaster.

So when Our edict came, We delivered Salih and the faithful who were with him by a mercy from Us and from the [punishment and] disgrace of that day. Your Lord is indeed the All-strong, the All-mighty.(66) And the rumbling overtook those who were unjust, so they became motionless bodies in their abodes,(67) as if they had never lived there. Behold! Thamud indeed defied their Lord. Now, away with Thamud!(68)

Allah has said, ‘Do not worship two gods. Indeed, He is the One God, so be in awe of Me [alone].’(51) To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him belongs the enduring religion. Will you, then, be wary of other than Allah?(52) Whatever blessing you have is from Allah, and when a distress befalls you, you make entreaties to Him. (53) Then, when He removes the distress from you—behold, a part of them ascribe partners to their Lord, (54)
